'Pennine Walks' journey jar

These 'journey jars' represent an adventure around one amazing location in the UK. When walking the trails, a tiny amount of the plants are taken and preserved as a memory or a hope to one day come back.

The Pennine Walks journey jar contains plants collected from a nature trail around the rolling hills around the mountains on the Scottish borders. Gravel pathways take you high into woodlands and low into the marshy waterways, and small stone bridges lift you over the boulder-strewn streams and onwards into the never ending landscape.

This journey jar includes plants such as birdsfoot trefoil, fern, foxglove, grass seed, heather, moss, and red clover.

This item will arrive in an unbleached paper-based display box with sponge insert as standard.

If gift wrapping is selected, it will be wrapped in tissue paper, sealed with a sticker, and secured with a ribbon. Please reuse or recycle packaging wherever possible.

Due to the varying export restrictions, any items containing plant material cannot be sent outside of the UK.

Great care has been taken to ensure quality and desiccation, but as with all natural items, the colours may fade if exposed to prolonged periods of sunlight.
